Hello, Im 24 years old, I was in the United States Navy for a while, then we had some disagreements, now Im not. No regrets. I got out, now Im going to school like I wanted to do the whole time. Im studying English/Literature/Journalism. Ill be there for a while. I love going to school, and learning new words and new works everyday. I dont like Shakespeare, I really dont. Tis art thou death!!! I love Robert Frost, he is a big inspiration for me. "In three words I can sum up everything I know about life: it goes on."
Ive never seen a more truer sentence in my whole life. Well, I want to be a writer, I love poetry, I love reading, and I love to go to the beach, especially at night while the stars are out, nothing is better. I hope to meet alot of new people here, maybe make some good connects along the way.

Sweet silhouettes of emotional madness
To caress, to touch, to taste her lips
This invisible woman who dissappears like a ghost
She stays around my life, not in it

The Writer

I hear to be a great writer, you must have great flaws
Many enemies beneath you, blood splatters your walls
The demons, they'll take you, wherever you wish
In order for words to come out, you must have this gift
The gift of a suffering that no one can describe
The gift of an anxiousness that will suddenly arrive
You will be the butcher of emotions, will let no one near
For it is because of them, you are in this place right here
A place where we go when we want to be alone
To take time out of life, to see the unknown

A thousand dances
Twirling, seductively sweet
A strength in numbers
adding to a life's symphony of defeat
A cowardly lion,
Ferocious feline, obliged to be kind
A simple act
An act of mercy, or worse, its a curse of the times
A time of treason
No reason, its just the time of the season
A season of loneliness
I guess, Im damn certain Im heartless

The most amusing thing happened to me today
A thought came to mind and I couldnt stop laughing
Sitting in the cafe on the corner
A clich'e, but nonetheless appropriate.

A beautiful girl is working the counter
I catch eyes, a fire inside I haven't felt in so long
Then the laughter!
How could I get sucked in again?

A fool for the world's beauty
How many times can one man get burned by that fire?
The fire of passion, a deadly emotion consuming your being
You burned me many times yourself, but now I've learned

I laugh
The thought of feeling a knife though my heart is inexcusable
I should know better than this

You're Like a Breeze

I've never seen the night, like the nights
Ive seen with you.
Your eyes lit up the stars, your smile
put the whole universe at ease.

In those moments in time
There was nothing wrong with the world.

In love on those summer nights.

The breeze went through your hair
like the leaves that sway on the trees.
Beautifully.
The cool sand beneath us carressed our bodies
as we lay next to each other staring up.

We dream of the future.

The Addict

To be an addict
Well, 'tis to be cursed with
impulses beyond your wildest imaginations.
To have no control
A dark shadow that haunts your days and nights

Just one more pill and thatll

and the shakes.
Its worth it, Im losing all my friends.
There are days where shame sweeps over me,
rendering it impossible to even look my own
mother in the eye.

I never knew I had a choice

Where am I going, that Ive never been before?

My Own Dante's Inferno

Like Dante, I walk a path of darkness
To roam alone without my dear Beatrice beside me
Not knowing what lies ahead this path, but knowing Im helpless.
Ive survived everything thus far, but can I survive eternity in hell?
Im not damned for what Ive done, though Lord knows I should be.
Im damned for what I didnt do, I couldnt save myself for you.
I tried, but I knew in the end Lust would break me.
Now I miss the simple scent of heaven, pine and lavendar.
The walls crumble behind me with every step I take forward.
My Lord, now would be the time to absolve me if you could.
