I was born in Chicago Illinois and raised in Mississippi.  I attended college in Little Rock Arkansas, where I received an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering and enlisted into the US Navy for electronics.  I left the Navy and moved to Boston Massachusetts where I decided to follow my dream of being part of the entertainment industry.

I started working in music retail management for two major record chains (Sam Goody/Music Land and Strawberry’s Records and Tapes).  After about three years of music retail management, I moved to New York and started working for an independent record label, Subliminal Records.  Subliminal is where I learned a lot about the entertainment industry.  I was given many responsibilities, such as Retail and Club Promotions, Marketing Manager, CD Distribution Liaison, Internet Relations and Head of the shipping Department.

After leaving Subliminal I went to Star 69 Records, were I learned how to promote and market a different genre of dance music.  Where also, I held many titles; the more notable position was, Promotions and Marketing Supervisor.

I was also an assistant to Oracle Entertainment and Marketing, which produced the 2001 Billboard Magazine Dance Summit.  I have sense promoted a weekly industry party in Manhattan at Karma the nightclub –while also managing a couple of house-music DJs (domestic and overseas).

After a year and a half of independent promotions, I started a music publishing and licensing business with a singer/songwriter friend of mine; called CB~JEM Publishing and CLB Licensing.

I now attend the New School University; I’m working on my Bachelor of Media Arts degree concentrating on the Business of Entertainment with emphasis on music, television and film.

Along with attending collage, I hold the position of Assistant Director, Strategic Marketing, Partnerships and Promotions at Loews Cineplex Entertainment (a cinema exhibition company). Doing my spare time, I’m working on a couple of creative writing projects.

My goal is to own and operate a multimedia company that can manage endeavors in music, television and film.
