In 1997, as an interactive entertainment industry analyst, I made a prediction on the birth of a new opportunity market space for story telling and fun that would be Internet and Digital Media based that would evolve from multiplayer online gaming. We are now just seeing the tip of the iceberg of the opportunity because the game industry has focused on the core market of hard-core gamers. I had been waiting for the technologies to be put broadly in place and it has taken 10 years, slightly longer than I predicted.
I have a strong record of determining and predicting trends. I am now working on opportunities in entertainment in the online (MMO, VM and Web 2.0) space based upon my 1997 insight!
I am today a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur with a strong orientation toward business development for tech oriented entertainment & business opportunities. With over 30 years working throughout technology in roles ranging from CEO through VP Business Development and VP Product Management through software development, I am currently looking for my next major company. Oh, BTW, I hold an MBA from USC's Marshall School of Business and a BA in Mathematics (specialty of game theory and topology) from UCLA.
I have been involved in projects and businesses that cover the wide range of information technology and communication including AT&T Labs, Sony Electronics, Apple Computer, numerous startups and even a Science Fiction and Fantasy Art Gallery.
