           here is a run down of some of the stuff I 

I have been engineering/DJing in one way or another for 10 years

Live Engineering

• I have 3 years in house venue engineering experience & 3 years tour experience working across the UK with a range of international touring bands and local talent

• I am a joint owner of HOC Sound System – a PA Hire & Engineering Company, providing live engineering and PA for venues up to 1,500 capacity for DJs and bands (http://www.myspace.com/hoc_sound_system

• Although I literally love engineering any style of music, I have worked with many tribute acts such as "The Drifters" and Dave Finnigan’s “The Commitments"

• Festivals I have engineered the main stage at include Rotherham Diversity Festival and Crawley Irish Festival

• I regularly engineer at several music venues in Nottingham – Ye Olde Angel & The Britannia Boat Club – covering a range of genres from blues to dance to metal

• I have also done corporate sound engineering work including New College Nottingham Showcase and Awards ceremony and engineering a corporate presentation for Leicester City Council

Touring

• I have toured with Eclipse PA & Centre Stage – engineering in a variety of venues from festivals to indoor shows in UK

• I have also toured with Disney on Ice as assistant sound engineer. World tour including UK & Ireland, Australia, New Zeland & South East Asia for 8 months.

Studio Engineering

• I started here & have well over 2 years experience of studio engineering. I am comfortable  with working with people from a huge range of musical genres and different ability levels

• I worked with lead singer of KWS – Del St. Joseph (#1 single with “Please Don’t Go”) & through him on projects working with London Producer Mike Pela (Sade, Boy George etc) & William Kofi for 2 ½ years

• Also worked for Soundtracks Project at the Square Centre Studios, Alfred Street, Nottingham. 2 ½ years – working with upcoming bands in the Nottinghamshire area

 Film

• Worked on “Control” film bipoic about Ian Curtis of Joy Division fame, as roadie & tech for instruments. Northsee Films London.

• I would love to work on more films & to experience more of this fascinating process.

Event Organisation

• For 2 years I jointly organised and ran a twice yearly 11 hour Goth, Cyber, EBM, Industrial & Alternative Style celebration “The Carnival of Souls” – at a 2,000+ capacity venue where I was solely responsible for booking bands, DJs & PA on which I also then engineered it all too!

•   I also used to assist in the organisation, promotion and running of “Chaos Theory” a successful monthly alternative night in Nottingham UK. Over the years I have been involved in many other alternative DJ nights.

 DJing

• I have been DJing for 10 years. I have experience of DJing around the UK, across a number of genres including: Techno, House, Alternative, Goth, EBM & Industrial.

• All of this naturally includes promotion, booking other DJs & venues, equipment set up & organising the nights
