As of May 2008, I am officially returning to the industry after a 10-year hiatus (thanks to inspiration provided by the recent Michigan Film Incentives, here's to hoping it works!). Oh, to begin once again as an "older woman". An adventure I shall enjoy (and an affirmation refrigerator magnet in the making)!

I have worked as a print model and spokes model (mostly in the health and fitness industries; I am a titled fitness athlete); also in industry, infomercials and industrial films; in television as a spokesperson and host. I am currently enrolled in ongoing scene study with various instructors (Strasberg, Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner methods), Improvisation (Second City/Current) and a year-long intensive actor's program at the Michigan Film Institute (Fall 2008). I will begin yet another voice-over program in the Fall. I have also taken classes, courses and workshops in the singing voice, improvisation, body movement / awareness, public / motivational speaking, life coaching, CGI-blue/green screen, teleprompter, ear prompter, voice-over, production and screen writing.

I am seeking work in theatre, student / industrial / industry / Internet projects, television and commercial gigs, as well a print (commercial) modeling (no nudes, lingerie, glamour or swimsuit gigs--sorry, Dad has a weak heart and a pump shotgun!). At this time, I am most interested in rebuilding my reel and credits to reflect more recent work so any project of substance is worthy!

I welcome any professional opportunity to rebuild my body of work and hone my craft. I am a team player, professional, thoughtful, considerate and responsible, and am both drawn to and appreciate the same in the people I am afforded an opportunity to work with. I am looking very much forward to developing lasting relationships and an employable career, and am diligently working at a return to this fun and exciting industry!

NOTE: My entire resume is not included here as my appearance and type of work has changed significantly in ten years (I was a blonde and tanned "beach babe" (or something to that effect) in my younger working years!).
