They struggle through a series of disasters before Jack realises what his mission is and how he’s to use his hidden powers. He isn’t helped by meeting Amazons, Giants, and Kobleneigh on his way.
When he realises he’s to use special powers to defeat the Gnome King. It proves much more alarming than he’d ever imagined.

In great despair, he finds a verdigris penny on the pavement on his way home, and decides to buy a votive candle at the church. On his way back, he finds an endless supply of pennies in his pockets. Another highoctane adventure for Jack.  He returns home to his family and finds the world is threatened by a plague. No one believes him when he discovers the cause. With his imaginary friends and the brownies help, can he defeat the evil powers behind a threat to human survival. This is the Epic of all epics in the magical world we cannot see around us.
