Director / Producer Michael David Lynch, BURDEN is a 35mm Sci Fi short film. Burden is currently in Post Production. With 60 visual effects shots being worked on by various people from Florida to Chicago to Denver to LA. Burden will be ready for the big festival tour in 2007. Filmmaking is my passion, I love the entire process of creating a film. I feel it's the best way to express myself. I can't draw but I wish I could. I love collaborating with fellow artists to create something above and beyond anything we could've done separately. Before Burden Mike Produced/DP/Edited a $30,000 HD music Video that was well recieved at the UMEC Festvial in LA and In April of 2005 Aired on MTV2 and other affiliates. Well all of my films are over 5min and Burden is still in Post Production, plus I didn't want to give then the rough cut knowing that they would just post it online. So a buddy of mine Mr. Fogle came over and we made this doc called "Kid with a Camera" it shows the road that I've been on where I came from etc... Anyways the Doc starts in 1999 and ends at the present with more to come of course! Oh I ended up never submitting it to On the Lot in worries that Burden would be finishing around the same time they'd start shooting. After seeing the new Render of one of our space ships and seeing that things need my attention I didn't send in the Application and now submissions are closed. So here is this thing we made for them but now it's for you and I hope you will enjoy.
