Born on April 12th, 1981 in Detroit Michigan, Mike Allen was raised on the west side of Detroit by his single mother, who was also raising his older sister. Looking to get away from the problems that all single parent homes have, he turned to sports and acting. He took classes in various drama and improv acting classes in middle school, which carried over to his high school, David Mackenzie High where he excelled in both sports and acting. Although after graduating from Mackenzie high in 1999, he then decided to try his hand at law enforcement, joining the Detroit Police Academy and graduating from the academy becoming a Detroit Police Officer at the ripe age of 19. After numerous awards, citations and police chases, Mike Allen left the Department to fully pursue his dream of becoming a professional actor.

In his short journey, he has recieved numerous formal and informal training through Mackenzie Drama Department, First Reign Entertainment, Detroit Police Department and Ted Dorsette just to name a few. Mike Allen is skilled in basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, track, pool, darts, dancing, skating, bowling and also sings. He can talk in different accents, do impressions, he can be portray both comical and dramatic roles as well as method acting. Mike is very down to earth, easy to work and get along with, also very coachable.

In his short career, he has already worked with well known stars as well as upcoming stars such as Michael Bay, Fredro Starr, Amil, Spanky Hayes, And 1 ballers, Shia labeof and Megan Fox just to name a few. His list of credits include both indie and major feature films, plays, and promo events such as Transformers-Feature Film-2007(Extra) Detroit Hoopz-Feature Film-2005(Phillip Davis), Last Night in D-Town-Feature Film-2006(Marcos), Origin "O" Pimpin'-Feature Film-Post-Production-(Boy Blue), Murder: The next generation-Stage Play-January-April 2007(Fork), The Soul of Music-Stage Play-November 2005, May 2007-(M.C., Homeless Guy, Thug, Pharoah, Music Agent, Smokey Robinson, Duke Ellington), K.Y.E.-Feature Film-2007(Lloyd), And 1 Mixx Tape Tour-2006-(Promoter).

Currently, Mike Allen is working on several projects including a Feature Film called Darling Nikki, he will be portraying the Heisman Trophy candidate, Korey Brown, and will be starring opposite Fredro Starr. A television show called Detroit Rap Wars in which he is portraying a hip hop artists' manager. Also a feature film called Hustle Hard in which he will be portraying the character, Chance Andrews. He will also be playing roles in the upcoming feature films, Diary of a Champion and Joe Citizen. So keep your eye out for this guy...He's coming...
