Hello Everyone my name is Lisa but everyone call me Mrs. Poetress. I am a single mother of 3 children. I live in the city of New Orleans. I love to write poetry to tell everyone what I have been through and where i am going now. I have collaborated with someone a year ago it came out great. I want to own my own Desktop Publishing Business one day I am claiming it in Jesus name. I am still with my sister whos name is MahoganySpice hers is Browns' Designers Elite. What part of No didn’t you understand?
Was it the N or O?
If someone tells you no you can’t touch
Do that give you the reason to say Yes go ahead
No!!!
When I was a teenager someone that I trusted
Took my womanhood from me
Lawd how could noone see this or what was going on.
All I was doing was holding on….
I kept it a secret for a while. Why???
I was very frighten of this man…
He told me if I tell anyone bad things will happen.
Tell me what part of No didn’t he understand
When you touch on little girls or boys…
There is lack of trust…
You can’t take your penis or whatever and thrust it in kids.
No No Nooooo….
You wouldn’t want anyone touching your kids in the wrong place…
I was scared to have a boyfriend after all this happened.
He used to tell me that he was my boyfriend
As I got older I told my kids what happened when I was young.
They started crying
I sat them down and tell them what is going on in life
This is something that I knew I had to pay the price for
In my mind I used to think it was my entire fault, but it wasn’t.
Tell your kids about your childhood if you was touched
I was and I put a stop to it…
My answer now maybe no means no.
