| Tamar Kagan Actor Los Angeles, CA Actor, Writer, Producer
After graduating with a Theatre degree from NYU, I co-founded Flip Side Theatre, a multi media theatre company, and co-created and starred in “Frack To Bunt”, and adult-ation of “The BFG” by Roald Dahl. I went on to perform solo character sketches at comedy clubs all over in New York City, and wrote a one-woman show, “How To Marry A Rich Jewish Man” that incorporated all of my zany characters. After playing a supporting role in “Black Prince” (2004 Grand Jury Winner for Best Feature Film at the NY International Independent Film and Video Festival) a film shot in Russia, inspired by the life of Russian poet Alexandr Pushkin, I was officially stung by the film bug, and moved to Los Angeles in 2004, to pursue a career in film and television. Since my move, I have performed, and collaborated in several short films, and stage shows. Most recently I wrote a short film “Good Luck In Her Eye” with my writing partner Sherri Valenti, which I produced and played the lead in. I feel I am finally aligned in my path to pursue my dream of acting, writing and filmmaking.
