Adara Almonte is a highly talented and motivated individual who performs comedy all over and was just seen in more than a half a dozen shows throughout the New York Underground Comedy Festival, has been seen numerous times on Saturday Night Live, was Gina Kowinacki on Law & Order: SVU, has starred in numerous independent feature films, was featured in a pilot for the Oxygen Network, wrote and starred in IN SEARCH OF CELEBRITY OR NIRVANA, a documentary about America's obsession with celebrity, and produces a show entitled THE LAUGH FORCE which is a bi-weekly show at the Laugh Factory and Blaggard's (45 W 39th Street).  She has sung and danced on and off Broadway, and for the Gypsy Kings, was a former Alvin Ailey dancer and recovered from a spinal chord injury.  She also wrote the very popular MGM: MENTAL GYMNASTICS AND MERENGUE, a one woman show which appeared at the MADISON SQUARE GARDEN THEATRE.  For more information on Adara, please go to http://www.myspace.com/adaraalmonte or http://adaraalmonte.blogspot.com
