STATUS UPDATE

Full time working musician trying to liberate myself from doing nothing but cover gigs. I am into acoustic Texas style music, influenced by Jerry Jeff, Robert earl, and older ss's like Gordon Lightfoot etc. I feel there is a place for smooth sounding music with well crafted lyrics whether it's a love song or life influenced. There is so much angst and mainia in all types of music anymore that I think my writing might find people like me who would love to hear something calmer and thoughtful without that annoying "uplifting" mainsteam country sheen.
