He started out as a young delinquent age 13 searching for his identity and found himself in God. Trough his music that is a crossover between rock, soul, reggae, gospel and hiphop, he aims to hit your heart real deep with lifechanging repertoire. Rivelino and his band are as versatile as a chameleon on steroids which means they can flip it from urban to rock and from funk to hiphop. Recently he received an award from the Dutch Government in the project ‘Getalenteerd’ which means ‘Talented’. Because of this he was able to record a short musicjingle for the two best listened to radiostations in the Netherlands, Radio 538 and FunX Radio. This jingle had airplay for over 300 times!

Next to being an artist Rivelino is a music-ambassador for international relief organisation World Vision (NCDO) and he made several trips to Africa and did several nationwide tours across The Netherlands for Zip Your Lip.
