I perform and record my (not so) unique brand of grooveless urban folk under the "band" name
*daisy*. I just relocated to Boston (from NYC), and try to play music as much as possible "on the side." Check out the listings under "upcoming shows" to see where I'll be performing next.
I consider myself more of a songwriter, which is the part that I like the most. I generally spend a lot of time on the writing, which I hope comes through in the songs.
In March 2009, I released my debut album, a 5-song EP entitled, “
So Cold.” I was really pleased with the results. After playing these songs over and over again in a busking, solo-style format, it was really fascinating to hear them grow into these big, full compositions in the studio.

Scott Lesniewski helped me in all aspects of the project—from creative new arrangements to fantastic performances on a variety of instruments. This record would not be nearly as good without him.
Same goes for
Shane O’Connor, our engineer. From creative mic placement to nudging the nuances of our individual performances, Shane got more out of these songs than we could have done on our own.
For more information, please see my Web site:

And if you like this sound, you should hire Shane for your next studio recording. He’s on MySpace at

Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the songs!
