I can do this

Born and raised in Western Michigan, David was drawn to acting at an early age. He had an extreme love for performing however, as a young boy, stage fright usually got the best of him. Growing up, he was never one who wanted the spotlight. Choosing to play by himself rather than make a grand procession for the world to see. He was a quiet reflective child who spent his time creating his own little world where he could manipulate stories and characters in his mind.

By the time he was a junior in High School the only credit he had to his resume was portraying the Christmas Star in a church play. David knew that if was to make his dreams a reality he would have to take the plunge; and that meant getting himself up on stage. After agonizing for two weeks over auditioning for the fall show at his school he got up, performed his monologue and was offered a lead role in "Cheaper by the Dozen". Since then, he has never looked back.

He has been in many stage shows, as well as, film and has done some modeling too. "I've been fortunate to have a great circle of support around me," says David. "It's those people that make the difference," of course, referring to his beautiful wife and three daughters. And we must not forget friends and family that have supported him as well.

So where did he get his talent from? "I don't think I got it from anywhere;
I think it chose me."
This is a fitting statement. It's not something he wants to do; it's something he has to do. Like a Zebra, this is his stripes.

At any rate, it doesn't matter where he got his talent from. Just thank God he did. The ability to light up a stage or screen suits him to a tee- and that's a suit he is more than willing to wear.

CommentDavid,

Thanks for the connect! And, yes, "Mosquito" happened to be my first film; it was definately a fun, campy movie to be a part of... I'm sure there will be others along the way... But the fact of the matter is, I'm glad to be making movies... and glad to be meeting many more talented people along the way.

Best to you in all that you do,
