In the backdrop of political fallout ~ having grown up in the Metropolitan Washington DC area ~ during the 60's and 70's (spending the 80's at the beach in Hawaii, California and Florida) ~ returning to DC for the onset of the 90's and remaining until today ~ a strong style of composition naturally ensued for me. When asked, I always state that writing swells like a ball of fire from my belly to my pen. While not everything I write is noteworthy (I've written some real yawners in emails to some very poor souls), work that I have completed that astonishes me, after an objective review, leaves me wondering where the words came from - are they really contained in my grey matter or are otherworldly sprites at play? What sport is this that captivates my mind? Truly writing is a gift that I'm thankful for - no matter the origin of the words I am blessed to deliver. Being a Christian with a definitive libertine edge, it has been my fortune to have the capability to intensively research major religious and philosophical concepts as well as engage in extensive post-secondary course work and mentor with a twice removed Professor Emeritus. An ever present driver to my spirit, life has lent me the unique ability to find the inordinate along the path of living that has afforded me a myriad of genres to work from. As a professional single mother of five talented children, who have acclimated and become successful as independent adults, an extemporaneous wisdom permeates my writs - or so I am told and these commentary's are a sincere hope. Vanity is a stop gap to me that diverts continued learning and the truest blessings of success. Assertion of self, on the other hand, is a sure sign of trust of self. In speaking of my talents as "I" perceive them, please be assured vanity is not a part of my personal concept - and assertion is a quality I am happy to have finally achieved after so many years living life in subterfuge to the gale of others' storms as well as the cruelty that some people wield in the act of humanity. As a writer and an individual, it is okay to say - "I like my work." And, rest assured I will find common elements in your work as well! Present work: 1. Contraband at Art Conspiracy Presently reading: new titles forthcoming New titles forthcoming New titles forthcoming Books I've Written: The Fourth Estate The belief that the press was free and independent arose by the mid-nineteenth century when businessmen maintained the capitalist order. The mainstream press was then weakened somewhat and maintained a defense in the stability of the state, which later evolved to a society that admitted no conflict of class interest, conflict between ignorance and enlightenment, conflict between the individual and the state, and later provided the intellectual framework where the free press could be perceived as a watch dog of government and guardian of the people. An Introduction to Enterprise Architecture As a collaborative writer/editor to this textbook available through McGraw Hill publisher, I assisted Professor Bernard in the development of this textbook. While it is not an easy reader and I would have entertained additional alliterations to the text presentation and the case studies this book is intended for a federal employee market and is beyond adequate to meet that criteria. It was a pleasure to work with Scott the author of this textbook. SANS Demystified I performed the ghostwriting for this textbook excepting ten pages. This book serves up basic SAN concepts and is an excellent overview of the technology, delivering several listings of SAN and fiber channel terminology, as well as some discussion of how to plan a SAN implementation. If you are currently working in storage networking, the descriptions on fiber channel technology might be of interest, but this book is geared toward the novice rather than the experienced reader. Introductions For Barnes and Noble: ![]() Human Personality and Its Survival of Bodily Death Human Personality and Its Survival of Bodily Death summarizes a twenty-year history of investigations that the London Chapter of the Society for Psychical Research performed from 1882 through 1902. It provides a prominent record of organized scientific examination as referenced through paranormal and psychical phenomena. In an era where an understanding of the psyche was still nascent this work substantiates human faith supporting the human condition through the establishment of an existence of life after death, where eternal personalities deliver enlightened descriptions regarding their state of being after experiencing physical death. ![]() Red Badge of Courage One of the greatest war novels of all time, this is the story of the Civil War through the eyes of Henry Fleming, an ordinary farm boy turned soldier. Marks a departure from the traditional treatment of war in fiction as it captures the sights and sounds of war while creating the intricate inner world of Henry. Probes the personal reactions of unknown foot soldiers fighting unknown enemies. Henry Fleming is motivated not by courage or patriotism but by cowardice, fear, and finally egoism, and events are filtered through his consciousness. What about music makes us feel good? Naked suited with angulations. (Copyright © Donna L. Quesinberry-2001) hearts are to some mere morsels, much like livers to be enveloped in onion driven rains becoming torrents......to others they are delicate flagships housed in glass bottles placed intricately on mantles for viewing.....and yet to others they are the marshmallow goodness of consumptively delicious smore's of living. it is my hope we all can obtain that dose of flagship intricacy with the passion of marshmellowy goodness. it is my prayer. Art by Dimitry Vorsin ~ prosthetic amusement ~ bereft through living she examined her post-humus musings determined some of them to be glaringly shallow ineffective and less than stellar glimpses of times but...she trekked onward toward the pillars of note taking and speculative jottings to perhaps stimulate emotive panderings or chagrin of those with whom took their time to ponder her grey matters. she misses him like a limb or the prosthetic replacement she misplaced yet another time. no she misses him like she misses herself the she that only shines in his presence-the she that was top shelfed early in life for the oh so safe keeping. he knows that. so she returned home. for good measure and the sake of hope.
