A native of Sept-Iles, Quebec, this Multi-talented Canadian Singer/Actor/Musician started singing when he purchased his first guitar at 17, then left the comfort of the small town theatre to pursue his dream. He moved to Montreal where he studied his craft for 3 years. He landed his first professional role as Tom Collins in The Montreal production of Rent.

In June 2005, when Yvan Pedneault played his first major role in the rock opera RENT at L’Olympia in Montreal, Lynda Lemay was seduced by his passionate talent and he was given the role of Jeff in the show, Un Eternel Hiver which had him touring for 9 months in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Quebec.

Enter November 2006. Yvan decided to take a chance and attended an open call for Toronto’s "We Will Rock You" just to get ‘experience’ as he claims. Until then, he had only performed in French and couldn’t even speak English. He was certain this would be a hindrance. However, after 4 days of auditions, Roger Taylor, Brian May and Ben Elton finally heard Yvan sing. There was no doubt he was their "Galileo" and Yvan was cast!

After a 61 week engagement, We Will Rock You came to a close, but it was more than evident that Toronto could not get enough of Yvan and the show and, We Will Rock You is back by popular demand. From July 2008  Yvan will revive his role as Galileo and bring Toronto audiences to their feet with his dynamic voice once again.

Yvan Pedneault is getting ready to record his first solo CD and song selection has begun. With Lady Luck on his heels, he has discovered Europe, life on tour and is now expanding his horizons to ‘Rock You’ with his powerful and charming voice in the comfort of your home.
