Ewan Clark
Composer / Film/TV/Theatre / Symphony
Auckland, Auckland , NZL
Film composer, orchestrator and copyist

Welcome to my page! I'm a composer for film and TV, based in Auckland NZ, and I'm keen to collaborate on films worldwide via internet and phone.

Short films I have composed for include "Are You Lonesome?", "The Now and the Then", "An Aggressive Gift", "Knock Three Times", "A Son Rising", "Keep it Up!", and "Carnal Seasoning".

In the world of contemporary classical music, my compositions have recieved a variety of well reviewed performances by groups and individuals including the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and the Southern Sinfonia.

As well as composing, I teach music, arrange/orchestrate and conduct, for instance I am musical director of the Auckland Wind Orchestra. My musical background includes orchestral, jazz, electronic, choral, experimental, and pop/rock genres. This means I'm comfortable writing in whatever genre is going to serve the film best. I have written scores using everything from death metal to jazz to Hermann-esque horror music.

For more info, my website www.ewanclark.net will be up very soon. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the samples below of my recent film music. It would be great to hear from you!
