I have been interested in Film/TV production since 19, where I directed and edited a few short films before moving on to getting a degree in Mass Communication in college. There I participated in several campus shows, both broadcast and theater, and even directed an episode of a locally produced show for PBS.

Since moving to Austin, I have worked in radio, producing a local morning talk show, edited web-based segements for South by Southwest, was the audio/video director for the Austin Wind Symphony, and directed for a live home shopping network channel. Additionally I wrote, directed, and edited a 9 minute short film last summer. Samples of my work are provided here, but more can be found on my YouTube Channel.

My skill sets are varied and include such tools as Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Additionally I have experience with such prosumer and above cameras  such as the Sony PD150, the Panasonic DVX100A/B, and the Canon XH A1 and HV20. I am always looking to add more experience with cameras (especially the venerable Panasonic HVX200 and the Sony EX1) though I've found that my grasp of the fundamentals assists me in getting up to speed quickly with any camera I come across.

 I am currently learning all I can about the different codecs used in HD-editing so that my skill set will continue to remain valid as I explore this exciting new frontier.
