Denise Gibbs-
Denise has been writing, producing and directing theater since 1984. In early 2007 she made the jump from theater to film and television production and has successfully helped produce and coordinate over two dozen projects in her first year alone. She is now runs her own company Foreground Background. (www.foregroundbackground.com)
Before doing film she was a Project Manager for a local graphic/web design firm and became the Managing Editor of a local newspaper, while moonlighting as a journalist for the European Weekly. Denise produced small local children’s theatre, faith-based family events and a reader’s theatre while she was a stay at home mom for 9 years.
Denise was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania and has been living in the Pacific Northwest for the past 12 years. “Washington has everything I love. From the mountains to the ocean and a thriving theatre and film community. What more could you want?”
