Michael recently appeared as Mr Myers in Fame at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Before that he played Rodney in the much acclaimed production of One Touch of Venus at the Kings Head and Yvan in ART at the Whitehall Theatre. He co-wrote the stage adaptation of Summer Holiday! (published by Josef Weinbergers) and has written Double Top for Valentine Productions / BBC Wales, Serena for SMG, the book for Close Encounters, a new musical which was performed at Century City, Los Angeles and the Book, Music and Lyrics for Swank! which was a finalist in the Vivian Ellis Prize. Michael has just directed his third No1 Tour of The Play What I Wrote. He was Associate Director on the original production at the Wyndhams Theatre and the UK tour of Godspell, which originated from the Liverpool Playhouse. He has also directed Bumpy Ride at Greenwich Theatre, Cinderella at the Hawth Crawley, Beauty and the Beast at the Darlington Civic and Summer Holiday! at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth. Michael was Literary Manager for David Pugh Ltd from 1999-2001 and is a Writer Associate of Mercury Musicals Development. He is married and has two small children.
