Jamie primarily writes Modern Rock songs with heavy guitar riffs and his deep vocals sound like a cross between Johnny Cash and Lou Reed. He also loves to loves to write comedy songs and make people laugh. 2007 was an incredible year. He released 7 new singles. Also, collaborating with other songwriters with the use of the Internet, he has been a part of the creation of some other great songs. In 1999 Jamie produced and released a CD for his Heavy Metal band XanaX B.C.R. that he performed and wrote many of the songs on. Jamie played mostly hard rock and heavy metal until 2002. Then in 2003 he started exploring bluegrass and other acoustic styles of music. In April of 2006 Jamie was featured in entertainment magazine Volume One. In the summer of 2006 Jamie filmed a performance of an original song he wrote for the movie "Illegal Use of Joe Zopp". The film will be making the Film Festival Circuit in 2008.
Jamie also works a full-time, day job, helping libraries with computers and their networks. Currently he is not performing but is focusing on writing and recording new songs. Jamie is looking for song placements and writing with other artists.
