Zimbabwe born, Kelly-Rhian’s natural talent became apparent at a very early age. On reaching the age of five she was already taking lessons with the June Cloete Academy of Dance in Harare, where she studied Tap, Modern and Acrobatic Ballet.
She progressed and was accepted at the Junior National Ballet of Zimbabwe steadily continuing into the Senior National Ballet. At the same time she was employed as a dancer for corporate product launches and promotional events for the likes of Mercedes Benz Zimbabwe and CABS Africa.
Successfully leading her fellow students through shows and productions in that country awakened her ambition to perform professionally in a wider arena.
Being self motivated, Kelly initiated, auditioned, and was accepted at The Northern Ballet School in Manchester, September 2001 where her development continued to diploma level.
