Kuya(z) - aka "Kuya OneEighty" - the obsessive-compulsive, grammatical b'boy who loves to rhyme slang. Know it - a die-hard Habs fan making a living in CAN - Eastcoast, with a possible outlook on calling New York City his future home.
Nominated and awarded the JAT for 7 years and running, Kuya is the Jack of all trades. He can chef a mean dish, groove like MJ and Usher, and graffiti trains like you’ve never seen before. A former salsa instructor and member of MT Dance Company, he also loves to battle the b’boyin’ streets of Toronto, Montreal, New York, and L.A. Some down-time equals vinyl-scratching ‘n mixing with Nokturnalz, (formerly known as Beats & Sounds Syndicate), or racking ‘em points in league play as a winger with the Gators, and international 4-on-4’s centering the Benel twins when the YoungGuns go on tour. Want more? His mad writing skillz and creativity are showcased via blogging, and if you want a stylish do, he can cut, style, updo, and colour your locks for whatever the occasion. Throw down the first move and he’ll defend his entourage using martial arts. Need a script technician? He can pimp yo’ Space. Require an App? He can mack yo' Book. Need a Producer? That’s his full-time gig.

Kuya is currently training part-time at JD Studios in Hip Hop-Jazz and working on FB-online choreography with K-Choreo in collaboration with F9 Productions, while fine-tuning his creative writing skillz on the GrammarDawg Blog. "Make time for what you believe in." As co-owner of Ghetto Ink Designz, additional part-time work include av-gfx for their main client THK. Full-time work occupies most of his time as a Promo Producer and Special-Projects Specialist with RM Television. He hopes to one day, in the near future, be re-united with his NYC galz.
