Mary made her stage debut at age ten and has performed almost continuously ever since. After high school she took a brief hiatus to study fencing, the basis for her stage combat knowledge, at Schoolcraft College where she received many medals for Michigan Division competitions. In 2003, she began formal stage combat training, later to perform at both the Michigan Renaissance Festival and Silver Leaf Renaissance Faire with their fight teams. In 2005 she joined Murder Mystery Players, performing interactive murder mystery dinner theatre at local venues around Detroit. She also worked for a season at Genitti's Hole-in-the-Wall Dinner Theatre in Northville and the Starbrite Productions company for their latest show "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," a roaring 20's murder mystery musical.  Most recently, she joined the Phoenix Players, debuting in "The Secret Garden" in a dual role (Mrs. Crawford and Miss Wiggin). Besides acting, Mary has worked as a magician's assistant with Success Magic, and was a founding member of the alternative belly dance troupe "The Lunatic Vagabonds." Her screen credits include lead roles in The Guest Room (May), Harmless Thoughts (Hailey), Cadence (LeAnn), Tough Cookies (Cindy) and supporting/featured roles in 21 Days in the Basement (Mrs. Bridgestone),  InZer0: Fragile Wings (Andrus), Red River (Waitress) and New Directions (Joanie). Mary is also the Associate Producer and Casting Director for the fan film webseries Star Trek: Osiris (also playing helmsman Kara Donovan). She's currently in preparation for The Phoenix Players' version of Blithe Spirit, starring as Elvira Condomine. Mary has also been nominated as "Best Actress" for the 2010 MI Film Awards for her role in The Guest Room.
