Melinda Sigal is a dynamic integrated marketing executive with over 30 years of demonstrated leadership and business building skills among Fortune 500 world class, high profile marketing organizations across a wide variety of categories.
Known to be a "strategic visionary" Melinda stimulated overall growth with the development and market entry of new products for high profit categories. She also planned and led the implementation of cutting-edge marketing and sales efforts across a number of diverse categories, both nationally and internationally.
Melinda niche is that she helps companies develop their strategic marketing plan and direction, and then implements the tactics to execute these programs. She accomplishes this by sitting down with her clients and looking at what they are doing, how they are doing it, and then coming up with very original thinking that produces measurable results and sales. Her talents include serving as “brand champion” … quickly assimilating competitive, consumer and trade trends & opportunities to help brands find their strategic and creative “voice”.
Melinda is also accomplished in developing and managing multi-functional business teams in the application of integrated marketing tools and skills to develop brand position, enhancing brand image, and maximizing return on marketing investment to improve bottom-line profitability. She has held executive posts on the agency, vendor and corporate sides with News America Marketing, Wishoo, Chancellor Marketing Group, Ryan Partnership, International Beauty Design, Xytronyx, Neutrogena, Redken, Vidal Sassoon, Bestfoods, Warner-Lambert and Timex. Additionally Melinda has worked on nationally well-known brands such as Dannon, Heinz, Nestle, Hormel, Dial, Kraft, Gillette, Procter & Gamble, Disney, Universal Studios, and has a comprehensive knowledge of national and regional CPG food, chain drug, mass-merchandiser, entertainment, automotive, associations, and consumer electronics (technology).
Melinda established The Sales & Marketing Connection as an integrated marketing consulting and services company providing agency/account management services, innovative business building ideas, integrated marketing plans, flawless program execution and business development. She initially started her company as a resource for companies who need to outsource their strategic marketing, branding, promotions, public relations/media, advertising, event management and sales/business development needs in early 90’s.
