This is a work in progress. I will add more songs when they are done to another website because I can't add anymore songs here. Julio Hanson, Barbara Markay and Joseph Armillas and myself are the vocalists in these compositions. I am a basso cantante who was fortunate to have Jerome Hines as my teacher, mentor and friend. He was one of the greatest basso at the Met, his shoes will never be filled. We also have the same birthday, we are Scorpios! Jerry, you are always in my heart and in my voice.

Seeing the statue of David up close in Florence, then the Sistine Chapel and the Judgment Day in Rome is a life changing experience! I stood in awe in amazement of Micheleangelo's genius. And in wonderment of the incredible, prodigious talent of Michelangelo as a sculptor, painter, architect and poet. Isn't it amazing that Leonardo Da Vinci was also living and creating back then too! I wanted to add Leonardo in the musical, he was Michelangelo's competitor but that will have to wait until another musical! Please do yourself a favor and head to Italy if you hadn't done so already.

The musical is part fact and a lot of fantasy since time will be an abstract part of the play. The first act will cover the making of the statues of David and the Pieta, his life as a sculptor when he was the most happiest. The first act ends with the death of Lorenzo Medici and the takeover of Florence by Savonarola. Greek's top three philosphers will be the Greek Chorus.
