A born entertainer, Mike has been playing piano and singing since the age of 5.  His showmanship and unique arrangements of popular standards have given him a knack for winning over crowds. 

As a professional pianist/vocalist Mike is available for weddings, parties, special events, accompaniment and recording sessions.

As an ensemble performer, he performs regularly with celtic-gypsy-jazz group The Whiskeydicks and progressive-rock-fusion group The Living, and has performed and recorded with Warren Flandez, Cris Derksen, Whyte Hott and Pearl Jig. 

As a composer, his works have been performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, The Turning Point Ensemble, The Ad Mare Wind Quintet, The UBC Guitar Quartet, The Living, Cris Derksen, Whyte Hott and himself.

Mike obtained his Degree in Music Composition from The University of British Columbia as well as his Performer's ARCT from The Royal Conservatory of Music.
