		Chris Gaffney of the Hacienda Brothers passes away.... Chris Gaffney of the Hacienda Brothers passed away Thursday morning (4/17) after battling liver cancer. (On the death anniversary of Eddy Cochran's passing) Gaffney had a long career as a solo artist, and also recorded and toured extensively as a member of Dave Alvin & the Guilty Men. The Hacienda Brothers was a collaboration between singer/songwriter Gaffney and Dave Gonzalez, best known as the guitarist, singer, and songwriter with the blues/rockabilly combo The Paladins.
