The real world is scary. I'm one of the many: the struggling NY actor in and around NYC. I've been performing for over 13 years, and I'm still Non-union. It is also becoming quite apparent to me that I am incapable of landing a day job...I just haven't figured out why yet. So anyway, professionally, I have been an actor, set carpenter, set designer, playwright, fight choreographer, sound designer, followspot op, stage manager, director, house manager, pretty much just about anything. And I'm ALWAYS looking for work. I also tend to seek out scams to be able to tell my friends out there what is BS and what isn't. Mostly cause I have way too much free time on my hands and am constantly hunting for paying gigs so as to be able to survive...which I am barely doing, and this month doesn't look so hot. Anyone have something for me that pays so I can eat this week and pay my bills this month?
