Arnold King has toiled extensively in theatre for the past 10 years, working as a lighting technician, lighting designer, scenic painter, stage hand and stage manager.

Arnold is currently making his debut as a playwright with The Final Mile to Providence, which he workshopped at the Shadow Theatre.  Next, he is developing the first part of a proposed cycle- The Morning Star.

Throughout Denver, Arnold has worked with the Subversive Intelligence Theatre Company; Hunger Artists Ensemble; Industrial Arts Theatre Company; Theatre Du Quirque; Paper Cat Theatre Company; Chasm View Productions; Evergreen Players; The Avenue Theatre;  Brooks Center Arts; Uncorked Productions and Firehouse Theatre Company.

Arnold is serving as production stage manager for Shadow Theatre Company's 13th Season, which opened with August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and continues with Christmas of the Angels by Michael R Duran.  He made his debut with Shadow last season, working on such productions as August Wilson's  Joe Turner's Come and Gone (Denver Post Ovation Award Winner - Best Drama & Best Actor in a Drama: Cajardo Lindsey and Henry Award Winner- Outstanding Performance by an Actor & Outstanding Direction of a Play: Jeffrey Nickelson), Smokey Joe's Cafe, Neil Simon's Oscar and Felix and the Shadow Youth Ensemble's original Painiting Over the Past.

Arnold functions as a lighting designer for Ami Dayan's Maya Productions, designing the American Premieres of Conviction at Curious Theatre Company and Pedro and the Captain at the Boulder Fringe Festival in Boulder, CO.
