Born in Israel, raised in the Far East, and now in New York- Rony Lee is truly of an international up-bringing. She has studied Theatrical Arts from childhood and made it her profession in Israel. An Alumni of the Beit-Zvi School for the Performing Arts (Israel's foremost school for Musical Theater), she has performed many roles on the Israeli stage. Among her favorite are: Elton John's "Aida" (Amneris), "A Chorus Line" (Sheila), "Fame: the Musical" (Miss Sherman), "The Sirens in Concert", and "Oedipus:Trial of the Gods" (Jokasta). She is also known as a songwriter, having written songs for many Israeli talents, and as a vocal coach in the Lola Shantzer Method. Here in NY, she has recently portrayed Gertrude in the Queens Players' production of Hamlet.
