Tempe, AZ " The Evolution of Igneous"
Daimeon Mosley & the Igneous Rocks was an idea that came to Daimeon after he became disabled by the West Nile Virus, and was no longer able to work a regular 9-5.
Paralyzed from the waist down, music was the only thing that he could think of, that would allow him to maintain a descent lifestyle, so after five months, when his legs began to move, he picked up a guitar, for the first time and started to teach himself.
After only two months Daimeon had learned a few Bob Marley tunes and began playing the local open-mic scene. This is where he would begin to find the rest of the members of the band.
In the beginning, The Igneous Rocks was strickly a Bob Marley tribute band, but after a while Daimeon started introducing some of his own songs into the show.
It was the strength of one song, Babylon Fall, that brought the band together. First came David Libman (drums) and Charles Bond (lead guitar) and then eventually Charles brought in his old friend and bass player, Andre Taylor.
Finally the band was complete.
It's been one year since the band was put together, and they've yet to have a rehearsal. The cohesiveness of this band is tight!
Performing all over AZ, The Igneous Rocks continues to build a larger and larger fan base every weekend.
If you never believed in miracles, then you need to take a look at this band. It was destiny that brought them all together, to bring the people some really great music. Enjoy it!
