He has provided music for many Punjabi artists such as Manmohan Waris, Kamal Heer, Debi Makhsoopuri etc. He is credited with creating new bhangra sound by adding traditional long lost instruments into the songs driven by solid dance beats. Sangtar runs a post production studio in Los Angeles, CA.
