Shannon Riddick has been interested in movies and acting all his life. Ever since he was a little boy he would make countless stories of love, mystery and adventure. He would spend hours in his room writing, acting out, directing and creating his own movies and plays. Once they were perfect, he would perform and show his creation to anyone willing to see. He once came up with an idea called "Faithman" and got all his friends at school to join his movie. He joined the Word of Faith Kid MinistryPerforming Arts class and performed two shows in front of his church. He has always been creative and imaginative. After a while, him and his family moved from the urban Detroit to the suburban Macomb Township. With the move, Shannon was eager to start acting again. He founded a local recreation center where he performed "The Woman of Oz." Then, he took a break from acting and started to draw. He made multiple of drawings and computer graphics in his preteen years. Reading over his past stories made him want to act again. He signed up for Drama Class in his second year at Shelby Junior High. From then, he began looking for jobs locally. In December of 2007, Shannon performed a skit about the "Fresh Prince." His career from that point sky-rocketed. He began applying to agencies and going to auditions for films and stage productions all across Michigan. From then he landed a stage production as a big eared Elf and a younger version of a main character in an independent film called "Kidneys." August 2008, he is working on a hip hop stage production called "Reviving Hip Hop" showing at the YMCA Boll Theatre in Downtown Detroit.
