I'm Shireen a 19-year-old actress, model, performer and 'Screen Icon' in waiting!
I have 4 years theatre experience with the renowned Oldham Theatre Workshop performing in many musical theatre productions, Actor's House, full/small scale productions and workshops.
In 2006 I completed a tour which included 'The Big Youth Theatre Festival' in Epping Forest, Kranj Theatre Festival in Slovenia and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Also in 2006 I appeared on BBC 1 'Greater Love Hath No Man' a documentary about Eyam the plague village in Derbyshire which has recently been nominated for a Radio Times award. I have six short film credits 'Where Does It Begin', : Colon, "You Can't Delete The Night, Tom", The Eyes Of The Sun. Sigmoid :Colon, Smoker Island and have appeared in the charity DVD/CD 'Every Child Matters'.
This spring 2007 I competed in the preliminary heat of Miss England 2007 (Miss Trafford) and won the public text vote for a place in the final five. I regular feature in the Oldham Chronicle modeling for their Fashion Editorials. I have completed a feature film called 'How Soon Is Now' and I have also filmed Oldham's very first Bollywood movie 'Oldham Ka Raja' in which I played the lead Sarah!!!
I take regular acting classes with Darren Gordon at the DNA Performance Resource.
My skills include belly dancing, contemporary dance, hip-hop/street dance, puppet making, basic stage combat and circus skills.
I adore all sorts of performing and could not ever imagine doing anything else!
