20 years Member of IATSE Local #26; Camera Utility/2nd AC, Sound, Grip, and many other hats

My name really, is Don "Jeweler" Stover, not SIGHTLINE, but ya got to like the name SIGHTLINE, (no one else used it) anyway I am a member of IATSE Local #26 in Grand Rapids Michigan since 1989. Served on the IATSE Local #26 Executive Board for 6 years as Recording Secretary (1990-1996) with Michael David as Business Agent. I was Chairman of the Board of Directors/office manager for our locals' payroll company for 6 years (now known as SHOWCHEX). 

House Sound Engineer for Devos Hall in Grand Rapids Michigan from 1989 through 1999. I also worked as Head Carpenter from time to time in Devos Hall, DevosPlace, Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. Currently on IATSE Local #26 A-list receiving calls as Head Sound, Head Carpenter, Head Props, fork and snorkel lift operator, flyrail, rigger, and stagehand.

Recently completed the Basic Film Set Training, through TicTock Studios and Grand Rapids Community College, class was held in Studio B, with Jeff Stott, Executive Producer and  teacher from USC Film School, Jim Behnke, UPM and also completed the Film Grip class with Dennis de la Mata, member IATSE Local #467, as the instructor. Laura Anderson assisted the instructors and added great information for the classes.

I was on the movie "TUG" being filmed in Holland Michigan, through Jumpstart Productions/Tictock Studios, as the Camera Utility and also 2nd AC on the last day, working with the "Red Camera". Great experience with really talented, impressive people. 

Production Assistant for 2 local area in-house videos for Steelcase though Lowing Light and Grip of Grand Rapids Michigan and Houston Winns Films of Detroit Michigan, sound recorder/boom operator for Pelican Productions of Muskegon Michigan for 2 local area commercials. 

Freelance Sound mixer.
Recently mixed FOH for the Thursday night opening night party at the 10th Annual Waterfront Film Festival in Saugatuck Michigan. Bands included; Lynn Thompson Band, Mine, and The Rick James Original Stone City Band. Other recent stand-in FOH mixing with The Cover Story Band.

Managed theatrical stage labor. Created many one of a kind metal products/equipment for stage use including my "Stealth" speaker towers in Devos Hall, Grand Rapids Michigan.
