Simply Unplugged Classic Rock
Guitar / Classic Rock / Rock & Roll/Roots / Rock
Coulterville, CA
Bill Mitchell is Simply Unplugged, solo acoustic guitar act playing Classic Soft Rock

I've been playing electric, acoustic, and bass guitar since 1966, and started "Simply Unplugged" in 1997. I've done the Hollywood scene in the late 70's with a band called Slammer. Worked for the record industry in the late 70's. Was the guitar tech for Glen Jorden that was in Sha Na Na in 1984-85 and at the same time guitar player for the Lynn Carrie band in Los Angeles also had a electric guitar line made out of plexiglass show-cased at the NAMM show 1985, had a busy mid 80's. Did a short stint in Las Vegas with a cover band called "Chester's Pencil" 1981.  Was on the radio in Orange County with a new wave band in 1982-83 called Sintax. Guitar player for the Jim Reinhart band in San Jose Ca early 90's. Took one of my recordings and filmed title song "Some Lovin" with Willis Music in 1987 and all the side projects between the 80's and the 90's, MC, producing, managing bands, studio recording, ETC.    Simply Unplugged is an Acoustic guitar act with a drum machine and racks mounts pumped through a pa. Doing everything from Eric Clapton, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Elvis, America, CCR, John Meloncamp, U2, Who, The Band and a lot more. My venues are small nite clubs, bars, shows, restaurants, anybody that doesn't want a full band with 200db's but is entertaining. I have an arsonal of guitars, some vintage. Don't mind if other musicians sit in with me. I'm also a Private Chef and my wife and I are a solid Yellow Belt in the Martial Art, Shou Shu-Fung Fu.
