Sonya has also appeared on the cover of GR Mazagine in 2000, auditioned for Miss Chiquita Banana in NYC, National Aparagus Festival queen in 2002 and other modeling jobs that placed her on a billboard for the Lansing Transit, on the cover of a brochure for Hurley hospital and others.

Sonya is Latina and bilingual. She currently resides in N.Muskegon with her 15 year old son, Devon, boyfriend Jason and "The Cat" Behrooz (pronounced Bay-rooz).
