Red Ed and the Undead is the pop/rock project of composer/front man Ed
Hyman, who is delighted to enlist the aid of his friends and peers as the
Undead. Ed has studied classical composition, producing numerous works of
chamber music in the process. The music of Red Ed and the Undead represents a return to simplicity; while there's always interesting challenges to be found in arranging elaborate compositions to be performed by trained
players, there's much to be said for crafting music around the basics of
lyrics and song structures.
