World Peace Center

Las Vegas, NV
"May Peace Prevail on Earth"

World Peace Center is a nonprofit, non-sectarian, all-volunteer peace affiliate of The World Peace Prayer Society, Inc. The philosophy that underlies all our activites is summarized in the following mission statement:

"World Peace Center encourages people of all ages and cultures to respect life,  to embrace compassion, to live in harmony with self and others, and to celebrate diversity rather than use it as a reason for conflict."

Self-supported and funded almost exclusively through volunteer involvement, we operate on a tiny budget, do not do fundraisers, and neither solicit nor accept cash donations. We do, however, rely on the contribution of reusable laptops, computers and peripherals to sustain ourselves in helping the under-priviledged live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Please click on any of the photos below for more details about our organization. Each photo is linked to different information about one of our many past drives -- from offering aid and assistance to victims of the 2002 Bali Bombing to delivering used computer equipment to primitive classrooom settings in Burmese refugee camps in northern Thailand. Each picture speaks a thousand words.

CommentHi,

I am a visionary artist and professional muralist / faux-finisher in Las Vegas. I happen to be looking for a nonprofit, charitable organization, to which to donate the painting of a fabulous exterior mural -- to give something to others who are less fortunate. The design would be something that we would co-create.

Please let me know if this interests you. Images of my artwork can be seen at::
